Manchester City vs Fulham
English Premier League
Date: 2 September 2023, Saturday
Kick-off at 15:00 UK / 16:00 CET
Venue: Etihad Stadium (Manchester).
In an effort to build on their strong start to the season, Manchester City will visit Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday.
Manchester City has won all three of its league games thus far, and they will be attempting to continue their winning ways on Saturday by defeating Fulham easily at home.
In previous years, Pep Guardiola’s team has performed admirably against Fulham, and the Manchester City boss will expect another powerful showing from his team this weekend.
Fulham, who are now 12th in the standings, have lost their previous two league matches. They suffered a crushing loss to Brentford at home before being held to a draw against Arsenal away from home.
It’s unclear whether the West Londoners can pull off an upset against the reigning champs, so they’ll need to be at their best. In advance of the most recent meeting between the two sides, The Hard Tackle takes a deeper look into the clash.
Manchester City vs Fulham Head to head :
- Manchester City have completely dominated this matchup in recent history with 14 consecutive victories over the Cottagers.
- Interestingly, we have also seen Fulham on target in each of the previous three meetings with Man City who celebrated two narrow wins in the previous term of the Premier League.
- The Citizens have won by at least three goals difference in two of the last four clashes against Fulham, though.
Manchester City vs Fulham Prediction :
Man City still has the most lethal attacking line in the tournament after scoring only three goals in the past two games. Last Saturday at Bramall Lane, they fired 30 shots at the Sheffield United goal.
Given that Fulham have conceded five goals in their previous two games and the stark disparity in talent between these two teams, we must predict a convincing Man City victory. At 2.20 odds, you can bet on the home team to win by three goals or more. We’ll also take the 2.62 odds on Erling Haaland to score two or more goals on Saturday.
