Six days from now, Stephen Fulton will be facing off against Naoya “Monster” Inoue for the WBC and WBO super bantamweight titles at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo.
When it comes to Naoya, he’s usually a bit angry after taking a punch. He’ll be facing off against a talented fighter such as Stephen Fulton, which will make him even more volatile.
It’s expected that the fight will be a wild and reckless affair, which will allow Fulton to easily pick apart his opponent on July 25.
During his first fight against Nonito Donaire and against David Carmona, Naoya looked like he was angry whenever he was hurt. It seemed like he was never meant to fight these types of fighters.
On the other hand, Naoya is looking to become a four-division titleholder by defeating Fulton, who is the WBO 122-pound champion. The fight will be televised by ESPN+.
It’s believed that Naoya’s power may not be enough to overcome Fulton’s boxing skills in a new weight class.
