In a battle of lightweights, George Kambosos will look to prove his worth while Maxi Hughes will attempt to pull off another upset.

Coming off a pair of losses to the undefeated champion, Devin Haney, George Kambosos knows he has work to do to regain his reputation. The Greek fighter was able to fight in Australia, but he was not able to impose his own style against the skilled opponent.

After facing some of the best lightweights in the world, Kambosos believes he has become a better fighter. He also added a couple of new weapons to his arsenal.

Although he is a skilled boxer, Kambosos knows that his opponent, English fighter, and former title challenger, Maxwell Hughes, will not be able to overcome his shortcomings.

Until early 2021, Hughes was regarded as a relatively unknown fighter in the UK. After defeating Jovanni Straffon, he became a prominent figure in the country’s boxing scene. His victories over Ryan Walsh and Kid Galahad have also added credibility to his reputation.

Hughes is excited to finally fight in the US and is looking forward to showcasing his skills to a new audience. He said that he will do whatever it takes to win.
