The UFC returns to the Apex tonight with another Fight Night event. Although UFC Vegas 51 isn’t as packed as last weekend’s massive pay-per-view event, there are still some top contenders and fascinating prospects to watch.
The preliminary program features a fight between Swedish bantamweights Lina Lansberg and Pannie Kianzad, which will be watched by the majority of Swedish spectators. Lansberg is rated No. 11 in the division, with Kianzad ranked No. 12, and this will be only the third time in UFC history that two Swedish fighters meet in the cage.
The fact that the Swedes have fought before, with Kianzad winning by TKO over 10 years ago, adds to the drama. Lansberg is back in the cage for the first time in over two years after giving birth to her daughter, hoping to revenge the loss.
The main event of UFC Vegas 51 is a welterweight rematch between top-ranked contenders, with No. 5 Vicente Luque taking on No. 6 Belal Muhammad. Both are on hot streaks, wanting to take their careers to the next level, while Muhammad is out for vengeance after being knocked out in their first fight in 2016.
