Chisora enters the ring again in an effort to halt a three-bout slump. His most recent defeat came at the hands of Joseph Parker in a unanimous decision in Manchester, United Kingdom. Prior to that, he had lost to Parker in a split decision at the same location in May 2021.
Chisora lost against Oleksander Usyk in a unanimous decision in October 2020 at Wembley Arena in London, when the world pandemic was at its worst. At the O2 Arena in October 2019, he defeated David Price via fourth-round TKO.
In May 2016, Pulev defeated Chisora in the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, Germany, by a split decision. At the time, he successfully defended his vacant EBU European heavyweight championship.
Kubrat, well known as “The Cobra,” is 41 years old and enters the five with a remarkable 5.5′′ reach advantage. In December 2020, he lost a championship battle against Anthony Joshua at Wembley by knockout in the ninth round. In Inglewood, California, in May of this year, he recovered by defeating Jerry Forrest in a decision that was unanimous.
