- The home team has failed to score goals at this ground only once in the past three decades.
Leeds vs Manchester City: Prediction
A fascinating matchup between the two managers as Pep Guardiola faces off against Marcelo Bielsa whom he has so often talked about as being a key influence in his own coaching career. This is one game where there are stylistic similarities and it will be interesting to see if either makes notable adjustments to try counteract each other. Ultimately, while both teams have some important absentees, those are more likely to harm Leeds and with City possessing the greater all-round quality, they have to be favoured to win what will likely be a shootout with goals at both ends of the pitch.
Leeds United vs Manchester City Team News
Bielsa is not one to rotate but Jack Harrison is ineligible to feature against his parent club, meaning there could be a start for Rodrigo or Ian Poveda against his former employers.
The visitors are still without Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero, so Raheem Sterling or Riyad Mahrez could start upfront. John Stones, Joao Cancelo, Ilkay Gundogan and Oleksandr Zinchenko are also all out.
